Convenient to everywhere

The Hotel was convenient to all the sites and especially to the Metro; which we took around the city in lieu of walking. Breakfast was free and accommodating. Other than the overcooked eggs, the menu was fine. Friendly front desk personnel.

Great spot! Disappointed that

Great spot! Disappointed that they wanted to charge for wi-fi! The restaurant was fully booked with a group the night we stayed and was I could not understand why they didn't just give us a table in their "second" restaurant that they close during winter! Great service!

We Stayed During A Very Hot Spell

We Stayed During A Very Hot Spell 36 -38deg C and the Fully Working Air Conditioning was Extremely Welcome to Match the Very Warm Welcome We Got Booking In. This is a Great Hotel - Located Just a Few Mtrs from The Foro, Colesseo, and the 'Wedding Cake'. Also Right Beside Cavour Metro Station. Breakfast really Set Us Up for Full Days Sightseeing and Then Just To Be Able To Walk Into That Air Conditioned Lobby Afterwards, Wonderful. Staff Are Terrific, Open and Friendly. No Doubts about Recommending to Others. Cordiali Saluti a Tutti en Grand Hotel Palatino. As an Aside if you are in a hurry to Da Vinci Airport get a Comune di Roma (White Taxi) the guide books say 45mins -No, ours got us there in 24mins. Live On The Edge. We Weren't Even in A Hurry.

Only around the corner from the

Only around the corner from the Colesseum and right next to bus stop and Metro, very conveniently located. Good breakfast and ok front desk staff. Thick windows and door provided a quiet room. It is also near the Termini train station, with heavy luggage, one is possible to walk down the slope from station to hotel, as we did. But the other way would be very difficult, we took a taxi.
