A bargain for the city!

I had one day to cover on my own. This hotel was $80 versus $500 for the company sponsored hotel. As others have said it is not exceptional roomy but my room was nice and clean. It had free Wi-Fi, something my $500 hotel did not. The breakfast was good and the staff helpful. My chief complaint was a hot room that couldn't be cooled with my in room controls. It was winter and that had the heat on. Would have been nice to have it a little cooler. The location is NOT near a Metro station so you must take a taxi or learn the confusing bus schedule to get there. The neighborhood was otherwise nice.

It was okay

The room was very small, with insufficient space if you have more than one large suitcase. The bathroom was okay, although the European-style shower would be a challenge for most Americans. The TV and cable was a joke. If you just need a safe, clean place to store your stuff and sleep while remaining close to the center of Rome, it's a good place. If you are expecting any sort of service at all, you will be disappointed.

Room was quite small although

Room was quite small although perfectly adequate and clean. Good if your not in Rome to spend a lot of time in a Hotel. Location is a little off the beaten track a bit but with good weather a 15 minute walk takes you to Villa Borghese and the edge of the main area. Bus stop for Termini just around the corner, Metro about 15 min walk.

Small and noisy

My wife and me were in Rome with a friend couple. We were extremely disappointed to discover that there is construction activity just next to the hotel. It starts at at 7 a.m. (including Saturday) and it makes a lot of noise. The window in our room was out of order, so we cannot protect ourselves from the roar. The interior of the rooms does not correspond to the 4-stars rating (except for the bathroom, maybe) -- some things simply need to be fixed. My wife missed a full-height mirror. Don't expect too much from breakfast -- you've got one sort of cheese, one sort of ham, boiled eggs, two types of yogurt, croissant, one- two types of bun, and fruits. But the coffee is excellent!

A wine bar Trimani, next to the Trimani wine shop on via Cernaia, is a wonderful place.

Good Hotel

This Hotel was not our first choice but Orbitz screwed up and cancelled our Hotel reservations at our first hotel by accident when I asked them to cancel another hotel reservation in Venice. This made the trip alot tougher since my parents were at the other Hotel:(. This Hotel was great for traveling anywhwere in rome. The #53 and #80 buses pick uo around the corner and will take you down to Barberini where you can get on the subway. The staff was good and the Coffee at breakfast was the best I ever had. Short walk ti Via Veneto where the U.S. Embassy is and Hard Rock Roma.

Great location at reasonable price

All the basic services are there, in a friendly way. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, abundant breakfast, and friendly staff. Hard to beat in the heart of Rome. Not to mention free wireless, always available.

Clean, Nice, Good Value

Room was clean but basic, bathroom was large for Europe and nice. $8-10 cab ride to most tourist spots, just tell them Piazza Fume when you want to get back. Internet and breakfast included made this a great value.

Another excellent stay ath the Executive

Unbeatable price for the best Roma location; Extremely friendly staff: they let you choose the best room based on your preferences, and they help you move for free at any time; The usual great Roman breakfast, with the classic fresh "pane" and "cornetti"; Clean room, all you need is there.
