Anniversary getaway

Room was a little smaller than expected but it in no way detracted from the experience. Staff were courteous and helpful. Great breakfast room located at roof level - nice way to wake up to the cityscape. Hotel located at the top of a hill so be prepared for a daily exercise. All areas within sensible walking distance

Don't forget: you will be charged more to sip coffee at a table as opposed to sipping at the counter. But I'm sure you knew that already

Very Nice

The view from the room where you eat breakfast is amazing, and has a great view of Rome from a tree top level.

Great hotel and location

This hotel was fantastic. The staff was exceptional! From the concierge to the bartender. Breakfast was superb with so many choices of good quality food. In the distance from our sixth floor room we could see St. peter's and the vittoriano and overlooked the Borghese gardens. Great location. More than I ever expected for such a reasonable price. I would go back in an instant.

Good Location in Rome

We had a nice, but small room with a double bed. The buffet breakfast was on the top floor with a great view of the city. Breakfast had pastries, boiled eggs, mozzarella balls, fruit, yogurt, dry cereals, deli meats and cheeses, fresh juice, and a complicated little coffee machine.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

We were a short distance from the Metro, which is a great way to get around the city. The hotel is right next to the Villa Borghese, a large park. We got tickets to the Galleria Borghese, which was my favorite museum in all of Italy. It only allows about 360 people in at a time. Be sure to order tickets ahead of time.

Very nice hotel in Rome

The room was somewhat small but so are most rooms in Rome. The service was excellent, the lobby was very nice and clean with a large sitting area. The breakfast area had a wonderful view from the 6th floor overlooking Rome. It is in an ideal location to walk to many of the popular spots in Rome.

Cute Hotel, Good Location

This was my first time staying in a European hotel so I don't have much to compare it to. Room was cozy, no complaint about size. The bed was actually two small beds pushed together so there was an annoying crack running down the middle. Saw a couple bugs in the bathroom, which smelt a bit funky. All of the staff was very friendly, which was a huge plus. TV got 12 channels, 2 English. The free breakfast spread on the 6th floor was excellent. Location was great in a quiet part of town right by the entrance to the Villa Borghese. If I return to Rome I definitely wouldn't mind staying again, but I would probably stay somewhere else just to see if I could do a little bit better. (I don't have anything to compare it to though).

Great Location!

Great location with pick-up for all the major tours. Hotel will arrange all the tours you wish to go on. The best part of the trip was [...] the bartender who gave great recommendations each day for dinner and things to do, plus he made the arrangements for you! The only down side to this hotel was the maid service which was well below par and the rooms definitely needed to be upgraded, especially the bathroom.

Good FAMILY VACATION

Great hotel for Couples get away. Rooms are small, typical European style. Great breakfast( included in room charge) on sixth floor, with nice view over Rome. Friendly Bar tender and nice clean quiet and safe hotel. It's probably little too much for ($200 dollars) what we paid per night, but it's Rome and most hotels are priced high. I would stay again if I needed to.
