Horrible!
This is an awful hotel. In fact, one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms were extremely noisy. Noise from the streets and neighboring rooms prevented sleep and enjoyment of this hotel. Additionally, the hotel did not have hot water one morning and failed to address the issue. I would recommend staying at another hotel if you plan on staying by the Spanish Steps especially if you want to sleep and be able to take a shower.

Great hotel!!!!!!!!!!!
My boyfriend and I spent a week in Rome on vacation. The location of the Condotti Palace was perfect! It's just a few blocks from the Spanish Steps. Lots of shops and cafes right outside the door. Also, there were many markets right there so we were able to get our own food (fruit, water, soda, snacks). We were within walking distance of the greatest parts of Rome and within a 2 minute walk of the metropolitana which is the subway that can take you just about everywhere including the train station. This was great because you take the train from the airport into the city and can then hop on the metropolitana to the hotel. This will save you over a $100 by not having to take a taxi. The rooms were clean and all updated. The staff were excellent and very helpful. We didn't have one complaint. The room had a porch with outdoor furniture so we were able to sit out back and just hang out. We spent a couple of nights grabbing food from the local store and just dining outside our room. Awesome feature! We will definitely stay at the Condotti Palace the next time we're in Rome!

The hotel is in a great location-the only problem is that they don't give you a lot of information when checking in-the room I stayed in the bed was not so,comfortable-the shower is the size of a phone booth-you have to hump your lggage up a flight of stairs.....other then that great area to be in restaurants/shopping/sightseeing-for a night or 2 grest-longer stay-Iw ould go to a hotel with more amenities.

Great location
THIS IS A GREAT HOTEL WITH FRIENDLY ,HELPFUL STAFF. LOCATION COULDN'T HAVE BEEN BETTER. 2 BLOCKS FROM SPANISH STEPS AND SHORT WALK TO TREVI FOUNTAIN. VERY WELL MAINTAINED AND COMFORTABLE SURROUNDINGS. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND.

Could not ask for a better place
Perfect location. Extremely friendly staff. Whisper quiet room. Easy walk to everything. Even though it was my first trip to Rome, I would not even consider staying any other place.

Generally good
Fantastic location, in the heart of everything. TV had only one English speaking channel. No ice machine. Wifi only in lobby, and the internet in the room was a joke...impossible to use by their own admission. Very nice otherwise.
