Good value basic hotel for breakfast and sleep after days out, fairly quiet location in side street off Via Cavour, slightly dingy part of town but fairly central, 2 mins from Metro, 10 mins walk from Rome Termini station, 10 mins walk to
Colosseum, Forum etc. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Beds fairly hard. Adequate help yourself breakfast buffet of ham & cheese slices, cereal, rolls, yogurts, croissants. Orange juice not nice highly sweetened and not fresh. Staff at reception very helpful with trip inquiries.

Wonderful vacation to Rome
Could not have asked for anything better for a hotel rated 3 star. The hotel was used as a place to sleep, shower up and have a quick breakfast. Breakfast was self serve and consisted of a small assortment of meats, breads, yogurts, cereals and
cheeses. Would have liked to have fresh fruit and juices. There was an orange drink, something like "Tang" and one that was red which I did not try. The room was very clean, I never saw ANY kind of bug and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was on a very quiet residential street. It was maybe a 5-10 minute walk from Metro Cavour which was great, we were able to walk or take the subway to everywhere we wanted to go. We felt very safe and secure there at the hotel and the whole area around the hotel.

Vacation, 2nd trip to Rome
Went with a friend and his mother. He took his mother to celebrate her 75th birthday. We used the room basically for a place to sleep and clean up. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean
and in a great location. We were about 10 minute walk from the metro (Cavour) stop. Hotel is in a residential area so very quiet at night when trying to sleep. The booking came with breakfast, this could have been better. There was an array of breads, ham, salami, cheese, 1 type of cereal and granola and yogurt. The breakfast could have been better if they had fresh fruit and fresh juice. What was offered was enough to get us going. I would definitely stay there again. We had a triple room which had 3 single beds. As with any European hotel it was small but served it's purpose. Overall it was a great experience.

Beautiful rooftop terrace!
We had a great stay at the Colosseum Hotel. It was an easy walk from Termini station, and we were able to walk to most of the sites we wanted to see (except for the Vatican, which was a quick subway ride). When we checked in we were happily
surprised to discover that our room on the 7th floor had its own balcony, complete with views of the Colosseum. The room itself was your standard small European hotel room, but the balcony made it great. It was so nice to be able to sleep with the doors open, and to wake up to the sound of church bells from the nearby basilica. The best part of the hotel is the rooftop terrace, the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The staff at the front desk were always friendly and helpful, and were great about calling car service for our early morning trip to the airport. The breakfast is not great, but it's enough to get you to your first gelato break of the day.

Proper Hotel
I was on a business trip to Rome in the end of Nov.
Personally, I do not need luxury accommodation, but I do enjoy cleanliness and a proper modern standard. Both are supplied by this hotel, the room was very clean, proper upkeep, good furniture,
clean & modern bathroom, staff was polite & neutral. Breakfast was basic to average. For $90 a night in a capital this is very decent value for money, hence I will return.

Not a bad location, but a bit
Not a bad location, but a bit too far to walk to most places. Better to stay closer to the older part of town. Staff were uniformly miserable in a town that was much friendlier than I had expected.
