A visit to Rome

We travelled as a family of 7 and had three rooms. We had a great view, clean spacious rooms. The breakfast was good, the roof top deck was awesome. The best part of the hotel was it's great central location. It was in walking distance to many great tourist attractions and restaurants.

Not bad for one night
We only stayed one night before heading home and were very happy the beds were comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The one downfall was that they turned the AC off at night so we had to have a fan brought up to our room. The breakfast on the roof in the morning was lovely, the food was good and it a variety to choose from. The employees were all very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Rome but not a longer one.

Colonna Palace
I chose this hotel purely for the location, the price and because I knew exactly what I was getting (I have stayed there 3 times in the past). The hotel is "fine" although it is in need of a major overhaul/renovation. The furnishings are old and worn and have likely not been updated in several decades. The location, however, is amazing -- a 2 minute walk to the Pantheon, a 10 minute walk to the Spanish Steps and about a 20 minute walk to the Vatican.

Colonna Palace Rome
The Reception Staff was Fabulous. We arrived without our luggage (yes it was "lost" "delayed")and they were so friendly and hopeful and helpful for the luggage arrival. The rooftop garden breakfast room was a wonderful way to start your day and the breakfast was delicious! The Hotel is in a great location...we walked everywhere and the staff always pointed us in the right direction. My sister and I had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

Walk out and go left or go right walk around explore and you will find everything you are looking for. Love to explore and its always fun to get lost:)

Super location, staff, rooms, and price.
Everything was great. Especially at this price point. Super location. A staff that can't do enough for you. First rate recommendations for local restaurants. Rooms are good size; a little worn but clean. Bathrooms sparkle.

Just ask the front desk staff for the type of food you're looking for and they will give you a great recommendation and make a reservation. They hit the make five times for us. All great food, close by, and very reasonably priced.
