An elegant Art Nouveau Building embraces with the most sought after ambiance of Hotel Britannia. Truly unmistakable for its style and charm. Amongst the most esteemed 4 star hotels in Rome, Hotel Britannia is distinguished for its comfort and excellent service compared to other hotels in Rome. Its delicate space, with classic furnishings and defined with original neo-classical marble pavements and precious wood, spread through out the reception (24), TV area and bar (open from 7am until 11pm). At the reception desk, guests receive all the services essential to an international 4-star hotel: fax and daily newspapers, reservations for transportation, excursions and guided tours, and laundry service. In all the common areas of the hotel as well as in the rooms, free internet WI-FI connection is provided.
A 4-minute walk from the most beautiful and celebrated places in Rome, a couple of steps from Via Nazionale and the Teatro dell'Opera, Hotel Britannia enjoys its excellent location among the 4 star hotels in Rome, but also to reach the Termini Train Station and bus stops from the airport (just 600 meters away). Any point in the city can be easily reached by public transportation, the Line A Repubblica metro is only 400 meters from the hotel and 100 meters from Hotel Britannia, in Via Nazionale various buses stop, that in just a couple of minutes, one can reach via dei Fori Imperiali and the Colosseo, Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Navona, in Piazza San Pietro, etc.

So it's all about location and breakfast
Britannia is nicely located, very close to everything, but on a quiet, narrow street off Via Nationale, just couple of blocks from Piazza Republicca. Staff was very helpful and put out an excellent breakfast. Nonetheless, we must advise travellers this is no frills place: everything about the rooms & common areas are VERY TIRED. Needs updating desperately. Fortunately we were out on the town from morning to late evening. Also, our bathroom was not entirely neat as a pin when we arrived.
