BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Royal Santina

Nice clean hotel, nice mood lighting in room, good breakfast, super location

Spent one day in Rome before flight home after cruise ship arrival in Civitavecchia. Hotel is a couple blocks walk from the Termini Train Station and the METRO subway lines. Bought a one day METRO pass for 6 Euro and spent the day at Vatican and Spagna. Took train to airport in the morning and arrived well before flight departed. Wife pulled 50 pound roller bag around and she is 62 and 105 pounds so not too difficult but well worth not having to pay high transfer rate between cruise terminal and Fiumicino Airport.

This hotel was very clean and a perfect overnight or short terrm stay. The rooms are small but clean. The breakfast was a nice surprise. Free WIFI and a perfect location next to Termini.

We arrived at the hotel around 10:30AM on 17Jul. As a hotelier, I fully understand about check in time policy. But it's kind of strange that we could not even register first. The service was not warm, no smile from the female staff who received us. She was very straight that "NO register!!! just come back after 2 please". The gentlemen who checked in us in the afternoon did not explained about the benefit and I had to ask about breakfast time & location. We only realized that Internet is free till we read the service directory in the room. The staffs speak Italian among themselves in front of guests. They are attending to guest and talking among themselves at the same time. Terrible attitude!!! Finally, hotel location & room are good.

Vistited Rome for 4 days so every minute counted. By staying at the Royal Santina hotel we were one block from the Termini station and across the street from the Airport Express bus. We were able to eat breaksfast at 6:30 and still catch the bus for a 6:50 departure. Hotel staff was not overly helpful but I understand that is not uncommon in Italy. The room was perfect. The air was cold and the showers were hot. I liked the "Ikea theme" room setting/furniture and everything was clean and comfortable. My husband and I have told all our friends about the hotel as a great place and great value for the money. Definitely compare rates for different dates since I have noticed that they fluctuate based on season and occupancy. Breakfast had incredible pastries but somewhat lacking on the hot food. Still there was plenty to choose from and we were quite satisfied. This will be my hotel for any future trips to Rome!

Hotel is located within walking distance of Rome's main train station--Roma Termini. Easy to catch taxi if you prefer but station has easy train ride to airport.

Really enjoyed my stay at satina. If I return to Rome this is definitely the hotel I will be choosing again. Fantastic ultra modern rooms with great mood lighting with an IkEa style decor. Great staff and location. Had a fantastic reduced deal thanks to hotelClub.

Far to expensive for this standard. The bathroom needs to be repaired.

Gut gelegenes Hotel (Direkt am Bahnhof Termini), Metrostation in umittelbare Nähe, reichhaltiges Morgenessen-Buffet (wir hatten nur mit Frühstück gebucht). Sehr sauberes und räumiges Schlafzimmer mit Regendusche und Badewanne. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir hatten in diesem Hotel ein 3-Bett-Zimmer mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen und sehr komfortabel ausgestattet. Nur die Designe-Objekte Wasserhahn (spritz) und Duschkabine (unten undicht) sind ein kleines Manko. Mit viel Handtüchern hatten wir das aber auch behoben. Gerne wieder ...
