Great Hotel

This hotel does not disappoint!! This was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our three stop tour of Italy. The room was a great size, very clean, and very nice furnishings. It is a five minute walk to the train station and a metro stop. The breakfast was the typical European breakfast. There is a train that goes to and from the train station and the airport. It is much cheaper than a taxi.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Osteria del Cavaliere was our favorite restaurant!! It was several subway stops and a short walk from the hotel, but definitely worth it! We ate there two nights in a row and it was great both times. Definitely invest in a subway pass, it will be the best investment you make.

Lovely hotel -good location - great value

This hotel is close to the train station Termini and city touring busses. The hotel rooms are large and nicely decorated. Service was excellent and there was a nice breakfast included. We were going to take the train to the Airport but found that for the same price this hotel had a shuttle service that quickly took us to the airport and dropped us of right at the door of our departure terminal. This certainly was an extra value.

Agusta Lucilla Rocks!

The hotes staff was great. They arranged for a car to pick us up from the cruise ship and then arranged for a taxi to get us to the airport the next day. Very professional and courteous. A GREAT breakfast buffet was included. The price was very good compared to other hotels with 4/5 ratings. The room was very spacious which can be hard to find in many European hotels. The bathroom was very clean and modern. No tub, though, and the shower was small. The location was very good. A nice quiet street, but close to the Metro at Termini and walking distance to many of Romes must-see sites.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Go to the Piazza Spagna and bring some shopping dollars. Prada, Gucci, Bulgari, it's all there.

Review of Augusta Lucilla Palace Hotel Rome

The front desk staff was very rude with the exception of Georges. Lighting in the room was terrible! Their web site is a little misleading on some items, i.e. wi fi service. You have to buy minutes or hours on a card and then you can't even get service. It was terrible! Room safe would never work. Unfortunately, this hotel did make our memorable list.

Couple Getaway

The Staff were not helpful. The room was in the perfect location for walking or riding the metro around Rome.

Good Hotel for Train Travelers

This is a great hotel location for train travelers; 4 blocks away from the Rome Termini station. Very good breakfast that comes with hotel reservations.

Pleasantly Surprised

This hotel is two blocks away from train station. Easy access to all levels of transportation that easily get you to and from all the sites. Staff super friendly. Our room was small, but cleanly, bathroom was big and clean. Bed stiff but that is how i like it. Hair dryer was already there and room had air conditioning. This was a perfect hotel for us as we were limited on funds and it was easy to get to the metro, trains, and buses to tour the city. The hotel did have a bar/restaurant that was limited in its availability but the continental breakfast was more than expected. Highly recommend this hotel.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

The restaurants located nearby are geared for tourists and not very good. It is worth walking around to look for good place and getting recommendations from staff.

Good location

Hotel overall was nice. The bathroom was a bit small. The staff could have been more friendlier and helpful. Great location, just a few blocks from the train station.
