Classic design meets modern features and good value on Via Nazionale
Just 10 minutes' walk from the Termini train station, the Artemide Hotel Rome is ideal for visitors keen to check out many of Rome's most famous landmarks located nearby. Constructed in the late 19th century, the recently refurbished Art Nouveau building is of a high modern standard, while keeping original features such as a 1920s stained-glass dome above the lobby. Other highlights include the rooftop terrace bar, restaurant and café, fitness suite with sauna, 24-hour business center, and Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the hotel. There is a housekeeping service twice a day and other services on offer include laundry and dry cleaning, car or limousine transfers, foreign currency exchange, babysitting and personalized city tours. If guests are tired after a day of sightseeing, the Hotel Artemide Romehas plenty of space to relax, eat and drink. There is fine dining at the Artemide Restaurant, the Caffetteria Nazionale is open for lighter meals and snacks, during July and August the rooftop terrace bar serves refreshments with its stunning views of the city, and the lobby bar serves snacks and cocktails.

Outstanding, top notch hotel
The staff, service, location in Rome and overall quality of this hotel is impeccable. From the moment of arrival to the moment of departure, the hotel staff made us feel welcome and comfortable with the city. The hotel is 3-4 star quality located right in a *PERFECT* area of the city - 5 minute walk from the central train station, 10 minute walk from Spanish steps, 20 minute walk to Collesium. The complimentary mini-bar was a MAJOR pro as well. Kudos to this establishment, one of the best (if not the best) in Rome.

Great Value for Downtown Rome
The Hotel Artimide was a great value for sight seeing. It was to the east of most of the main Rome attractions but still well within walking distance. It was also very close to a lot of shopping and a pharmacy which came in really handy. Every morning we took advantage of a free breakfast buffet which was included with the stay. Besides the typical staples - like eggs, breakfast meats, toast, and cereals - the buffet also included a large selection of breads, cold cuts, veggies/salad items and fruit, juices, and pastries. It was much larger than any hotel breakfast buffet I've ever seen in the U.S. The hotel offered a free minibar which was excellent as even water costs money in Italy. So every day we had some waters, soft drinks, beers, and crackers to munch on as we were touring. Wireless internet was also free. Everything about the room was great, it was clean and quiet, had lots of outlets. Two TV stations (skynews and CNN) were in English. The hotel staff spoke very good English. The bathroom was well stocked and had a bathtub/shower combo. Bed was low to the ground and had a comfortable firm mattress. The hotel had a turn of the century look to it and felt very elegant. The tour company the hotel recommended wasn't very good. But all the restaurants and information they gave us otherwise was great. Just go see the sites on your own since everything is pretty close by. A tour that includes transportation to the vatican might be good because it is located on the other side of town. You can also go to the Metro and get to the Vatican in about 20 min. Honestly you can't do much better for a hotel in downtown Rome. It is about as perfect as you can get and the price is definitely affordable considering all the amenities you get with your stay.

There are so many free amenities at the hotel. Take advantage of having your room cleaned every day because they stock beer, water, soft drinks, crackers and cookies for FREE daily. Take advantage of the HUGE free breakfast buffet. They also offer a free glass of sparkling wine at the hotel's bar.

Professionally Staffed & Very Courteous
I knew that I was in good hands the moment I checked into this hotel. I was greeted at the front desk by a very courteous agent who was kind enough to converse with me using fluent English. My check-in was handled with ease, a map and directions to important locations was provided and highlighted, tours were arranged, and my return to the airport was verified to ease my mind for my departure date. The courtesy extended was exemplary and memorable. The room I had was quite comfortable and the bathroom amenities were both colorful and generous. The bed was quite firm (which I like and seems quite common in European hotels) but may come as a surprise to first-time travelers. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was very convenient and a great way to start your day. I am very pleased with my visit.

The Artemide staff is very helpful
The Artemide staff is very helpful and accomodating. The room was excellent, and the included breakfast delicious. We appreciated that they kept our luggage all day for us, as we had a very late flight in the evening. We would definitely go there again. Great location and despite the busy street, there was no noise in the room.

great location
The staff was extremely helpful with anything that e needed and spoke very good English. We arrived early and although we were not eligible for the free breakfast we received it complimentary as well. Pack an empty suitcase as the nearby shopping is a must!

Henkilökunta on erittäin kohteliasta ja auttaa asioiden hoitamisessa. matkatavarat voi jättää hotelliin säilytykseen sekä tulo että lähtöpäivinä. Hotellissa mukava ravintola kattokerroksessa.
