Good hotel a little outside of the city
It was our first time to Rome and wanted something affordable. The Adagio was right on the bus line if you know how the buses run but it was a little outside the city. We were surprisingly close to the Vatican and if you put on your walking shoes, you can walk the whole city from there. The pool is very nice and the staff were all helpful. We stayed in a room with a bunk bed and a king bed, so if you have kids, this might be a good choice.

Quiet Oasis in Busy Rome
A quiet garden oasis with a great pool, just the place to relax in after a busy day sightseeing in Rome. We found the multilingual front desk staff very efficient and helpful in assisting us with reservations, etc. We will certainly come back ourselves and would recommend this hotel to others who, like ourselves, are willing to use local transit. After all, "when in Rome do as the Romans do".
