We gave the HotelClub voucher
We gave the HotelClub voucher to this hotel and explained the voucher includes all fee and tax, but the hotel still insisted charging additional tax. As a result, we had to pay 3 Euro per person per night.

Comfortable and Convenient
We were close to the train and bus station which made travel throughout the city very easy. There were several restaurants within a block or two. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great value
I have to say that this was the only hotel we stayed in Rome or even Italy, so I can't say that I have anything to compare to. Also, we only stayed in the hotel overnight and left very early in the morning. But, it was a good value for the 4 of us. It was difficult to find rooms for 4 and this one was clean and very convenient to Termini. The staff was very friendly and confirmed our car pick up in the morning which had the wrong address, so the person at the desk was very helpful in getting the reservation set up properly.

Better options may exist
My wife and I spent two seperate nights in Rome. The two hotels were both near the train station and comparably priced. Unfortunately the experience was not comparable with the Archimede the lesser of the two for the following reasons. First location - Many hotels are near the train station, the Archimede's is on the side opposite that of the historic sights. In our opinion this side was not as nice as locations on the other side of the terminal. Second staff, the stafff at Archimede's was not very polite and did not seem interested in their guest comfort. The hotel is relatively large and our sense was this made it more impersonal. Third general ambience - The Archimede's lobby is marbled and very presentable, the remainder of the hotel is tired and depressing. The hallways aren't carpeted such that sound reverberates and makes one aware of all activity (once again where is the interest in guest comfort). Fourth condition of room - it appears rooms in Rome are on the smaller side but beyond size this one was quite spartan with respect to its furnishings. Finally breakfast - the breakfast provided by the Archimede was the worst we encountered in our entire trip and paled miserably compared to the other local competitor. The only good thing about the breakfast was we were catching an early plane and felt no remorse for rushing it.

For a short Stay
The Hotel was two blocks from the Train station, which made it each for an early morning train. The hotel itself was very nice: Nice room, Clean , private bath, Airconditioned, staff was very friendly. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to go to Rome and not spend a great deal for a hotel. It is worth it price.

Time-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
The sights in Rome can be reached by bus, and since Rome is a walking city you may just want to walk to the forum and the sights there. The bus stops tell you where the bus goes to, and it makes it very simple.

Good deal
I was staying here one night before flying out of Rome, but you don't actually stay in the Archemede. When you walk in the front door you will think, wow this place is great, then a member of the staff will walk to you through the hotel to I guess a sister property located behind the Archemede on the other side of the block. The hotel was fine though. Rooms were clean, a/c worked well. They even arranged a car to take me to the airport since my flight was too early for the trains. It is literally a 3 minute walk from the train station (and so also a metro station), so very convenient in that regard. Lots of hotels in this neighborhood, but being a woman there by myself, I'm not sure I would have wanted to walk the neighborhood alone at night, splurge on the cab coming home after dark. :)

Viste le recensioni su internet,
Viste le recensioni su internet, temevo peggio. La colazione lascia un po' a desiderare per la qualità... Il prezzo è certamente buono per un quattro stelle...ma forse l'alberto meriterebbe una stella in meno
