In the 18th century there was a noble Neapolitan woman who lived in the old villa where the hotel stands today - She was so beautiful that the inhabitants of that area called her Reginella which means Little Queen - In the 60s a Sea Capitan had the idea to name the hotel Hotel Reginella after this regal beauty - The hotel is a small construction in the typical Mediterranean style which overlooks the sea -The external sign of coloured ceramics from Vietri gives a warm welcome to all of the guests - The entrance hall is situated on road level and is in the typical Arabic-Mediterranean style with numerous arches-traditional vaulted Positano ceilings - The hotel is located in the centre of Positano and is surrounded by the most spectacular landscape of the Amalfi Coast with the characteristic houses perched along the mountainside - La Reginella-whilst boasting stunning views-is also very convenient for the unique local shops - The beach can be reached easily on foot by a walk along the small road which passes by the hotel - If you prefer you could take the steps-the famous Scalinatella longa longa longa... of the world-famous Neapolitan song-which bring you to Positano beaches and squares within five minutes - The hotel and most rooms overlook Positano Spiaggia delle Sirene-the sea and the wonderful landscape of the Amalfi Coast
