Everything we expected and more.
We wanted a quiet night near the airport before traveling home. We were able to take a city bus near by to the Leaning Tower of Pisa the afternoon we arrived which was a real plus.

Short walk to city bus for siteseeing and in opposite diretion for airport transport. Also, short walk to train station.

Good location, small room
Hotel was convenient to the train station and was very quiet (but that might have been because our stay was in mid-November). Staff very helpful and efficient. Loved the convenience of walking to all the sights that Pisa has to offer. Seemed expensive for the facility when compared to other better appointed and bigger rooms in other parts of the area (Liguria, Tuscany). Room was clean, bathroom fully operational and breakfast was adequate (coffee, teas, juice, breads, spreads, butter and jam). Hotel will make taxi reservations if you have an early flight out of Pisa airport.

Entertainment tip:
Long walk from hotel
Do not give yourself short shrift by coming to Pisa to visit only the leaning bell tower. Take the full tour of all the buildings around the tower,including the church, the baptistry and the "opera" of the church. This gives you some appreciation of the splendor of Pisa and some important art history. Pisa should be seen along with Firenze as they were inextricably connected during the Renaissance; some of the same masters worked on the many magnificent edifices in these cities. Pisa is filled with lots of young people, giving it a wonderful vitality. Walk through the small, winding streets to take in and enjoy this delightful city.

The staff was friendly and accomading keeping our luggage both prior to check in and long after check out. The breakfast buffet was continental but with a good variety. The hotel is only 1 1/2 blocks from the main trian station, on a nie side street. Would definately stay there again.

Take a taxi form the airport. It is worth if you are traveling with at least 2 other people. About 10 euros

In a pinch, only.
The Hotel Terminus is on a non-descript side street in Pisa, about a block from the train station (handy) and a mile from the airport. We were looking for a basic, affordable, conveniently located hotel to spend the night before departing for America the following day and, by those standards, the Hotel Terminus was passable, if a tad seedy. There are a couple nearby trattorias and bars but not much else to recommend. Upon our evening sign in, we found the front desk clerk to be brusque at best. The following morning, the front desk manager was more helpful. The room (102) was tiny and the wall plumbing noisy. The bed linens were clean, the bathroom towels though, apparently double as table cloths (thin and not very absorbent.) The room television and one lamp didn't work. We went out for a bite to eat late the night we arrived (around 9) and were asked to leave our room key at the front desk as we left (that's a new one to me.) The morning complimentary continental breakfast was good, if unremarkable. Italy is, and always will be, a breathtakingly beautiful country. The Hotel Terminus? Not so much.
