The junction "Pisa-sud" of the A12 Motorway (Genova-Livorno) only 5 km from the hotel, allows access to the entire motorway network. Within 500 metres from the hotel is the superstrada (Highway) "FI.PI.LI." (Florence-Pisa-Livorno) which winds it's way through the beautiful Tuscan hills above the Arno River Valley to Florence which is 80 km away and to the Autosole A1 beyond.

It was ok
The hotel was ok and was very good price, plus had shuttle service from the airport. There were no resaurants in the area at all but the resturant in the hotel was very good and the waiter was very helpfull. The room was small, very small bathroom but was clean. If you are looking for a hotel for a one night stay close to the airport I would say this is a goood choice, but not if you want to see Pisa.

Not a convenient location
Disappointed in the hotel. Chose this hotel based on its proximity to airport, but found out it is not conveniently located near the airport and the shuttle is very limited in time. If you have an early flight, book elsewhere as the taxi cost 18 Euro (5 by the time it got to the hotel). Staff is indifferent.

Hotel Accademia, Pisa Italy
First we took the shuttle from the airport that was specifically from our Hotel. He took us from the Airport, to the bus station and sat for 10 minutes there, and then back to the airport again to pick up more. Overall, a 10 minutes ride took 40 minutes! On top of that the driver made no effort to help with luggage. I'm guessing he was about 35 yrs. My husband tried to shame him when we went back to the airport and picked up two older ladies (about 70 yrs). When he was obviously not going to help with their luggage either, my husband got off the bus, walked over to the sidewalk and got their luggage and carried it back and put it on the shuttle. When we mentioned this to the htoel desk clerk on arrival, he said he'd talk to him but in all honesty he didn't seem very bothered by it himself. After visiting Italy for two weeks these were the most rude two men we encountered. Not i nice way to depart. The hotel itself was clean, but the typical Europeon cigarette smell hung in the hallways and could be smelled in our "smoke free" room. The walls were paper thin and the thermostat could not be controlled. It was a HOT, very stuffy room with no fan either and we didn't sleep all night before our 7am flight. Would not recommend this hotel.

Pisa - Near the Airport
The hotel was about 8 minutes from the Pisa airport, which was our main reason for booking. It was a wonderful place to spend the night - very clean, with helpful, English-speaking desk staff. There was a van that ran both to the center of town and to the airport, but only on a schedule set by the hotel. The downside was location - it was situated in an industrial park well outside town, so not many choices for lunch or dinner unless you took the shuttle into Pisa, which we did.

5 minutes from airport
This hotel was one of the nicest in Europe that I have stayed. It was very modern and the staff was wonderful. The restaurant downstairs was wonderful! Also, the had a computer in the lobby free of charge. Bathrooms had tubs only, but had a small petition if you HAD to shower.

Hôtel placé dans une zone industrielle, pas du tout charmant! OK pourt des réunions et seminaires professionnelles mais pas vraiment conseillé pour le tourisme!
