- Rooms are medium in size and furnished in a very pleasant and fine style. The decors are simple and pleasant, the light colour gives a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The bedspreads and the curtains are well-coordinated.

Not a 4 star hotel, more like a Super 8 or Quality Inn
European standards must be different. Although this hotel was clean and the front desk staff very helpful, the room was not 4 star. The carpet was worn, the pillows were flat, the AC barely did the job. The room and bathroom were clean. We arrived about 8:30pm and the resturant was closing at 9:30Pm, the front desk however called down to them to reserve a table for us. We should have walked around the block. This was the only bad meal of our Italian trip. The breakfast the next morning was a full continental and we enjoyed it much better that the dinner. Would be a good hotel for someone on a strick budget or possibly students looking for a bargain.

Fun hotel
We had a relaxing stay at this fun hotel. We stayed in the wine area and enjoyed both the wine and the chocolate. The tunnel connecting to the Jazz area was cool, and had running videos of great jazz concerts. The restaurant was first rate. We needed a laundromat at this point and found one a 10 minute walk away. We had a treadmill in our room which was a nice touch.

Short drive from hotel
It was a 15-20 minute drive to Assisi and our GPS led us on a picturesque one lane farm road up into the magnificent town.
