Convenient location close to train
Convenient location close to train and bus station and within easy walking distance from city centre (Royal Palace, Cappella Palatina, Cathedral, etc.). Room rather small, but well equipped, and quiet despite hotel being on main road with heavy city traffic. Free internet point available. Good value for money.

a nice Hotel, with nice people,
a nice Hotel, with nice people, in a good location (close to the main train station); I recommend it minor weaknesses: rooms and public areas are a bit small; the hotel occupies the second floor of a building where the front door to the street is closed, so you have to ring up to enter the hotel

Out of the Hôtel on your right one or two corner on your right again is a typical Sicilian restaurant with very good service and great food. Well price to.

There is a shuttle from the airport that stops throughout Palermo(for this hotel, the closest stop is the train/bus station). Hotel del Centro is located on one of the major roads in Palermo, with a variety of shopping and dining nearby. Many historic points of interest are within walking distance. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we both agree the hotel was an awesome pick! It wasn't extravegant, but that's not what we were looking for. The rooms were comfy with very high ceilings. (I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a bathtub, only a standing shower.) The staff was phenomenal, they helped us locate lost luggage from the airport, translate from Italian to English, gave us pointer where to eat and how to navigate the banking/postal system. The staff was always friendly! The complimentary buffet was lovely in the morning: pastries, meat, cheese, breads and fruit. Fresh espresso drinks as well! Fantastic!

Ottima la posizione, praticamente
Ottima la posizione, praticamente vicino alla stazione e al capolinea dei bus. Un normale tre stelle vecchio stile. Colazione molto essenziale ma ben presentata. Grande diponibilità alla reception. Potrei tornarci.
