Hotel Galileo Padua
The hotel is superb and in a great location - Italian hotels at its best. The university is constructing a huge new building next door so that what should be an easy and pleasant stroll to the historic center, currently is complicated by construction fencing and a blocked sidewalk. Once construction is completed this will no longer be a problem.

Short walk from hotel
If you are thinking of taking the Burchiello - the Brenta Canal boat that visits various Venetian villas - this hotel is the place to stay.
