Try this hotel
Quite near the main train station. Modern American style hotel - we needed a break from a crazy hotel in Rome the past 2 nites. Nice breakfast setup, and free internet in the lobby. Very convenient to all of the city's sites, including nearby Pompeii train.

I booked this hotel as somewhere to stay to take a day trip to Pompei and Sorrento. It was so close to the train station it was very convenient. The staff was very welcoming and their chocolate and nutella cake was delicious.

nice hotel
Hotel is located near main train station with fast trains for any destination in Italy. Opposite the hotel you can grab the circumvesuviana trains that will take you to Sorrento and other gulf destinations. The area is not nice and bit scary at night but not really unsafe if you use normal precautions and common sense. Hotel is a good value for price paid. I have been here before and would reccomend it.

We chose well
Very handy location, good room, wonderful beds, good breakfast, nice hotel. You won't go wrong if you choose this place.

Disaster in Naples
Complete Disaster!
While the front desk staff we most friendly, we ended up in a room located in the back, on the same floor as the conference center. It felt like an old storage room with a bathroom, no air condition, stale air, no windows. Also loved being solicited by prostitutes as we were unloading our luggage. I would most certainly avoid this hotel in the future.

Good Hotel
The hotel is great, with big comfortable big rooms. As others have reviewed, they are sometimes understaffed. Location is convenient, despite being in a messy neighborhood.

Italian traveler
Safe and welcoming
A nice hotel but it's not in a great neighborhood even though it's only a few minutes from the train station. I would definitely look at other hotels in the area that would probably be better value for money.

Wonderlust
best location for transportation
We spent most of our time traveling to sites and this was a great hotel for that purpose. Comfortable, clean, large rooms were good for resting and sleeping before the next day's trip. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was above average with lots of choices. The neighborhood was not exactly clean with garbage in the streets.

La Cantina dei Mille and Iris restaurants were good choices for us, within walking distance and reasonable prices for dinner. There are not a lot of choices.
