An American family in Europe
Don't let the location scare you!
We stayed at the Joyfull Hotel for six nights as we toured around the Naples area. It was a good place to relax at night - we enjoyed the quiet and air-conditioning after a full day of traveling. It is true that the hotel is not situated in a good looking part of the city - in fact, the neighborhood is quite dirty and run down - but we never felt unsafe. We ate at a very good restuarant in the area, and found the people there to be very helpful and kind. It is very close to the train system which we used extensively while we were there. The staff of the hotel was very helpful, and understood English.

Short walk from hotel
Try eating at the Tratorria Alfredo close by the hotel. It is a small family restaurant with great pasta!
