- Located in the historical city centre of Naples, the Caravaggio Hotel occupies part of an ancient noble building of the 17th century.Piazza Garibaldi, with the Railway Station and the Circumvesuviana train for Sorrento, Pompeii, and Herculaneum is at 700 m. The highways and the ring road are at 900 m. At the same distance is the Harbour "Molo Beverello" to sail to Capri, Ischia and Procida. Capodichino Airport is at 4 Km. At the rear of the Duomo, at few steps from National Archaeological Museum, from Greek-Roman city's underground, Sansevero Chapel, where is set the Sammartino' sculptural masterpiece the "Veiled Christ" and from San Gregorio Armeno the characteristic street where all year is possible to admire the craftsman's creation of nativity scenes for Christmas.

Pleasant hotel in the heeart of Naples
Staff was very helpful. Most spoke English, but one key person did not. My room was large, but had only one small window very high up on the wall. No English language television was provided. For travelers wanting to stay in the historical central section of Naples, this is the place--maybe the only place of this quality. This hotel and its neighborhood are totally Italian and non touristy. The hotel location feels relatively safe. I saw a lot of Naples and the surrounding area from this base and would definitely stay there on another trip to Naples.

The hotel directed me to restaurants nearby. They were not fancy as the neighborhood did not cater to those with large budgets.

Insbesondere das Bad entspricht
Insbesondere das Bad entspricht keineswegs dem versprochenen ****-Standard: Der Duschkopf funktioniert nicht richtig, die Duschkabine ist uralt und undicht, sodass es überläuft, und es gibt Ameisen! Das Zimmer ist abgewohnt. Beim Frühstück wurde uns verschimmelter Kuchen serviert! Der Parkplatz ist erheblich teurer als z. B. im ca. 500 m entfernten Hotel Real Orto Botanico.

bon accueil mais une chambre avec
bon accueil mais une chambre avec une fenetre de deux metres qui donnait au plafond sur la terrasse d'un voisin nous avions l'impression d'etre dans une cave
