A hidden gem

Upon arrival Roberto the desk clerk was very helpful in finding parking for our car and marking a map with all the local spots he recommended. He gave us several suggestions on itineraries. On our second night after a brief conversation [...] gave us a suggestion of a local restaurant and it was perfect. The experience of our last meal on vacation for our last night in Milan is an experience I will not soon forget. An example of customer service, we mailed a postcard from the front desk upon leaving the next day I was informed that I had not put enough postage on it, the young man at the desk removed the stamp and offered to purchase a stamp and mail it for me, I am sorry I do not remember what your name was but thank you. The only negative was that the WiFi did not work.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

The Milan subway system is excellent way to get around. We zipped across town several times with no difficulties. The Metro entrance was just around the corner from the hotel
