the location was perfect for us, close to the airport he shuttle to airport was good my only complaint is that it took too ... long to get picked up from the airport. to go back to the airport we needed an apointment on the shuttle, which we were not made aware of. otherwise, we would stay there again.

Late arrivals will welcome the fact that the restaurant remains open until midnight; the breakfast was also abundant...but make sure your reservation "includes" breakfast, or otherwise you will pay 15 Euros more!

Be sure to schedule your free shuttle service from the hotel to the airport as soon as you can. Shuttles were full when we tried to schedule, so we had to pay 20 Euro to take our own cab to the airport. Cabs were clean and timely (if overpriced), but an avoidable expense if you plan ahead a little.

Novotel/Milaono--Malpensa

I liked everything about this hotel...creative, modern, Italian design; clean, efficient, "cool." For folks like me, just ... needing a night close to the airport, it is certainly an excellent choice. I arrived late and hungry, but the in-house (modern and lovely) restaurant was open until 12 midnight! That is good service. My only complaint regards the longish wait for the free shuttle...I had to wait 30 minutes...but at least it was free. The shuttle runs on a fixed schedule, and not to the needs of the clients...not so good for a hotel of this size and class! Other hotel shuttles passed twice before mine showed up. Altogether, however, I would stay again, as the "overall experience" was certainly worth it, especially for the low price I paid for my (definitely) "superior" room."

Easy connections from Malpensa. Regular shuttle to hotel did not require reservations or advance calling (though I would ... recommend doing so anyway just to verify times, etc.) Hotel is sleek, urban, minimalist style. Great large breakfast area and reception area. Seemed to be a preferred hotel for airline personnel. Quiet, great peaceful environment.

Excellent stay near airport

We called from the airport for pickup. In 15 minutes we were meet at the terminal, whisked to the hotel, offered a wakeup ... call, scheduled for a return trip to the airport, and given our room keys. The room was immaculate. We opened the window for some air and the noise level was not bad at all. The restaurant was lovely with prompt service.

Hotel is not on any available map, location is not even available through GPS. No directions are offered by the staff ( we ... called several times) and when requested, the directions were given in portions - it took us 3 phone calls to get the directions. The shuttle service to the airport advertised is very limited and not adequate: the shuttle for the busiest departure times is booked solid - so either a upfront (before arrival to the hotel) reservation is necessary or need to think of other means of transportation.

Super comfortable hotel near the airport. No more than a couple years old. Professional friendly and efficient service. ... Standard quality Novotel furniture. Modern Italian design on the bathrooms. Good breakfast. Lots of space, and many rooms are family type that comfortably sleep 4 people.

Excellent stay for an airport locale. There is no better option for an early flight out of Milan. Very comfortable modern ... room, very nice bathroom facilities. The restaurant was overpriced and breakfast was not inclusive in the price. Signage to the hotel could be better placed. We would have saved a lot of time driving in circles if the hotel sign were included among the others listing all airport hotels but once we reached the room it was blissful.

I had to cancel, due to family plans back home, but friends stayed here and were very pleased. Easy to get to from Milan and ... the airport, FREE shuttle, nicer than the other small Italian airport hotel. Highly recommended.

New Hotel - Modern Design

The hotel looks brand new, and has a clean, modern design. Close to the airport. They have a shuttle, but the first ride is ... at 5:00AM, and I had a 6:15AM flight, so I didn't want to "chance it". I kept my rental car, and dropped it off in the morning. The rental car offices don't open until 7:00AM, but they have a key drop box.

Beware of the gas stations, they all close very early. Not sure what time, but all were closed by 8:00PM when I arrived. So to fill up a rental car, you must have Euro cash to use in the automated pumps. The pumps won't accept a USA bankcard.

Convenient, Comfy, but Rude Reception

We stayed here one night in order to catch an early flight the next day, and all in all it was a great decision to stay ... there. The room was large and well accomodated, the bed comfortable, excellent continental breakfast options, and fantastic airport shuttle service. The only part that was less than desirable was the service we received when we checked into the hotel. The woman who helped us gave the impression that our arrival inconvenienced her and proceded to give us short (potentially rude, depending on how you look at them) retorts to every question we asked. Aside from her, every one else was quite helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again if my travels bring me back to Milan.

Perfect for A.M. Malpensa Flight

The Novotel is not much to look at on the outside, but is clean, comfortable, and convenient to the Malpensa, with shuttle ... buses leaving on the half hour in the a.m. The rooms are modern without being too spare, and are actually quite roomy. My bathroom had both shower stall and tub. Desk staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating, offering shuttle reservation, wake up call, even helping with dining reservation outside hotel. Overall, this was a painless, and even enjoyable night before a flight. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with an early a.m. MXP departure.

Good place before a plane

The hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport and has a very good restaurant (though pastas are way overpriced). Rooms are ... small but clean. There is a shuttle for the airport, but it does not operate bfore 6:00 a.m. so if you have a flight before 8:00 you have to take a $40 cab ride. This was not appreciated. But it is nice to have a plaace with good food, nice people, and clean rooms near the airport.
