Grand Hotel Puccini

The Grand Puccini Hotel had a comfortable and clean bedroom and bathroom. It had good air conditioning and TV. The staff was accommodating and helpful with advice on places to eat and how to tour the city using the very good, clean and air-conditioned Metro system. We only had a view of the tile roof from our room, but considering the fantastic price, we didn't care. It's also only a few yards to the Metro station and on a very wide and lovely boulevard.

This is a wonderful Hotel. The staff was very friendly, spoke English, and very helpful. The room was very clean and exactly what we had reserved. The breakfast was included and was tasty and fresh. You get a lot for your money.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, but is badly in need of updating. My daughter and I laughingly referred to it as the hotel in "The Shining". The room was clean, but smelled old and musty, and the sheets were rough. The wallpaper boarder was peeling from the wall, and the area around the shower was rusty. Also, there were no pictures on the wall....not a terrible thing, but strange. We only spent two nights there, and it was tolerable, but it's definitely not a 4 star hotel.

We were there only for two nights, but we remained with very good impression. The location is realy good - if you want to go walking the hotel is near the centre or you can catch the Metro ( station Lima is about 20 m from the hotel) just for 2 stations. The staff is very helpful.

They charged me with 10 euro for printing out 15 pages. I think the whole pile of paper costs less.. The hotel is very outdated and the cafe downstairs is just awful. Although the staff is quite nice and friendly.

Excellent location, with a metro stop 50 metres down the road. The hotel is clean and hotel staff friendly and helpful with good English spoken. The bathroom did have an unpleasant odour to it. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.

I was visiting Milano with my son to watch the soccer game Milan AC / Manchester United. The hotel gave good value for money. We had a spacious room. The beds were somewhat worn out, but we slept well. The breakfast was not fuly cooked but it was good with all kinds of bread, good juices, croissants and all kinds of meat and cheese, boiled eggs, joghurt, fresh fruit.

We basically used the hotel as a crash pad, spending our days visiting the major museums, churches, and shops. The Lima Station is an easy 5 stops from the Duomo and other major sites. They were great, and we'd return to our room for a rest from 5:30 to 8pm, when we'd venture out for dinner. While the decor was charming, our room had a musty quality that made us sneeze. The bath smelled moldy and the shower drained slowly. However, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The desk clerks gave us tips for getting around efficiently and inexpensively, and took an interest in our experience in Milano. The club downstairs got noisy on Saturday night.

Die Hoteleinrichtung ist nicht mehr auf dem neuesten Stand, aber man ist sehr bemüht den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Die Lage des Hotels ist vor allem zum shoppen ideal. Tipp für Autofahrer: Das Auto in Kurzparkzone abzustellen und mit 11 Stück Parktickets zu je 1,20€/h (für 24h) ausstatten ist billiger als Parkgarage (30€/d).
