Fantastic location, just a couple
Fantastic location, just a couple of minutes walk to cathedral plaza, shops, bars restaurants. Also on very inexpensive, reliable public transport route. Staff very helpful and mostly english-speaking. Buffet breakfast disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Meat and cheese are extra. Cereals, bread rolls/croissants, fruit, yoghurt available. Orange juice appeared watered down. Coffee most disappointing (instant from a machine and poor flavour). No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Mattress rock hard. Smoking permitted in most areas and in rooms although most smokers seem to respect non-smokers in public areas.

Grand Hotal Plaza
It was mentioned they are 4 star but the service and hotel need much improvement to be called a 4 star. Not too many visitor come to this hotel it seems so they try to fleece for the existing customer. First the did not allow children to stay with us even though there are less than 18 years which was not legal and forced us to take another room. That room was not connected. We had to go and check if everything was okay through out the night. In our hotel room breakfast was included but there was literally nothing there, not even salads, eggs or meat. only things that were there which has long shelf life, fruit was tinned. I would not recommend anyone to go there.

Great staff, excellent position
Excellent hotel, fantastic position for central Milan, no restaurant so B&B only, only internet access was via a plug in modem in room

The Room was very well decorated.
The Room was very well decorated. However the bathroom was a disappointment, it was very dated, and did not have a proper shower with screen, you had to stand in the bath and hose yourself down, which was not so good as it flooded the bathroom. Secondly breakfast it would be much better if you could have fresh fruit salad and not tinned which was very disappointing. Apart from those couple of points the hotel overall was good.

Schöne Zimmer, angenehm
Schönes Zimmer, angenehmes Hotel, quasy direkt beim Dom Platz (100m). Dass das Internet kostenpflichtig ist (EURO 17,--) und dazu auch noch nicht zuverlässig (Login Probleme), ist allerding Schade. Dieser Service sollte inbegriffen sein, da dies heute wohl jeder Reisende braucht. Dem Hotel und dem Gast würde dadurch viel Ärger erspart. (Die EURO 17,-- wurden zwar vom Provider zurückerstattet aber bei einem freien Internet wäre gar nie ein Problem entstanden)
