Milan Stay, Florence Hotel
Charmless hotel in a far out location even though Metro access is nearby (Loreto Metro). The neighborhood was OK. Even after I checked in certain amenities (TV were not in working order). Complained about this and staff indicated just press the power button. Wouldn't say its value for money considering the lack of vibe, location and staff. could work as an overnighter for budget minded folks but no more than a day stay. Less than enthusiastic staff. Overall I would give this a C at best.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Milan has few attractions compared to other popular locales (Roma, Firenze, Venezia). If you prefer half or full day out of towners, you can easily get to Lago di Como and enjoy the most sceinic lake in this part of Italy. Tickets from Milano Centrale or Garibaldi are just 9 € return. If you chose the boat ride from Como to Bellagio (about 1 1/2 hours) its just 20€.

Gorgeous room at a great price
Late at night we had some difficulties finding the hotel, though it's really only a few minutes walk from the metro as we discovered in the morning. Graffiti on the hotel's facade didn't inspire confidence in the neighborhood, but once we were inside we were offered candy by a very cheerful concierge. The room was wonderful, high ceilings, big, clean, with multiple windows and radiators (we were there in January). Breakfast is provided and an actual person will make your cappuccino, instead of a machine. In summary: great building, great service, and only a few metro stops from central station.

A small and friendly hotel. Well located conveniently close to public transportation. Breakfast could be more varied but was adequate. Overall recommended for a short tourist stay for a budget-conscious traveler.

This hotel is locating in a historical building, which means the celling is high and the single room I stay is very nice. Little bit away from the center, but it is a nice and quite area, 5 min walk to the subway green line.

Bon week-end à Milan
Après un moment d'incertitude à l'arrivée, il n'avait pas eu la réservation mais à la réception la personne qui parlait français a resolu le problème en 10 minutes et nous avons put enménager rapidement et profiter de notre première journée à Milan dans sa totalité.
