Fantastic stay

The staff was fantastic-- the rooms were beautiful and clean, with excellent service and attention to detail. Many small niceties provided such as candies, newspaper, water, etc. Breakfast buffet was very nice with quality choices, though a bit more variety would be nice from day to day. The bar prices were quite a bit higher than other area choices, but setting was quite nice. The location was fantastic-- walk to most main attractions, convenient to Metro. The nearby Brera district provided many good eating and drinking choices a walk away. Beautiful shopping all around, though not for the frugal shopper. [...]

Luxury with a price

Our main purpose in Milan was to see an opera at La Scala. Also to shop, to visit the duomo, the Last Supper, and the tomb of St. Ambrose. This hotel is a great location for all those activities. The service was impeccable, the rooms very comfortable and elegant. Breakfast is an additional charge (very high) to an already very expensive room, and nothing special. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was good, but for the price was by no means a deal.
