Time-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
you can explore the lake by boat and return from Belaggio via bus(45min) which has a stop at the back side of the hotel saves time and money.

The hotel website stated it offered free internet. What they do not tell you is it is limited to 30 minutes of free internet. After 30 mins you pay 10 EU for unlimited internet. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, alarm clock as well. These were not provided, as they only have the basics. Our room was clean and the hotel location was very convenient to the airport. We had to wait 50 minutes for the shuttle service to pick us up at the airport, as the current shuttle was full. Then the shuttle service was not available when we wanted to leave in the morning. The van only holds 8 persons, so we had to take a less convenient time for the shuttle. Breakfast does not include eggs as we were told by the reception desk. They cost 4 EU extra. Not as great of a value for what you get overall.

Hotel Griso
We stayed in 7 hotels in Italy during our trip. I wouldn't say our staff was unfriendly, not sure if it was a language barrier or? But they just weren't as helpful as other staffs. Although, one of the cleaning staffers was very nice in helping me with some baggage, that was very nice. The key here is a great view of the Lake and surrounding mountains and a huge patio off the room. Newly renovated (with some continuing) the room was very modern (IKEA-like) the design used the rooms space nicely.
