Thanks to his location the hotel is a good choice for both tourists and business clientele. R.C. 10/08 The property has been refurbished internally in 2004 and the building still mantains its original features. The hotel is conveniently located at the door of the city center facing the parc of a castle of the XVI c.

They did a good job of refurbishing this hotel after the 2009 earthquake. The rooms are somewhat larger than those in many of the big cities. The location is on a piazza with a picturesque fountain. Once you walk a few blocks away into the old
section of the city, however; you see buildings that are still rendered unserviceable from the earthquake. There are many streets that look deserted; but with a little walking you can find a restored shop or eating place. Only downside to the hotel was the desk clerks -- most of whom spoke little English. You'll need a car to get around the area; and the hotel has about 8 reserved parking slots. We never had to resort to the paid garage, since the hotel was not fully booked.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Although the hotel only has a breakfast area, the Oro Rosso Ristorante is only steps around the corner from the entrance. They don't really open until 19:45, and the staff speaks little English; but I had the best piece of meat I've encountered in some time.
