- all rooms are studied in every detail and this makes them different from each other by their original setting and tapestry, that evocate the history of the ancient town of Genoa. - The hotel is situated right in the historic centre of Genoa a few steps away from the railway station "Porta Principe" and only 300 metres from the sea station. Its strategic location makes it easy to reach from any part of the city. The communication with the airport Cristoforo Colombo (only 7 km from the hotel) is carried out through the motorway Genova Ovest. Public shuttle service to/from the airport to/from Principe station. The hotel also offers private transfer service.

Excellent Service
The hotel was beautiful and the hotel staff friendly and helpful; however, I would not recommend any of the spa services. The spa itself is very nice, but access is a bit over-priced. The hotel does not offer services (i.e. massage, facials, ect.) but contracts the work to a company that provides services to various facilities. The pedicure and facial I received were both sub-par and expensive, to the tune of 90 euros for the facial and 45 for the pedi. Otherwise, the amenities were what I would expect from a 4 star hotel, and the restaurant was excellent.

Best breakfast view in town
Great hotel just steps from the train station with an incredible breakfast where you can sit on the rooftop (7th) fl. overlooking the city. Made to order eggs, omelets as well as a great selection of fruits, granola and yogurt toppings. Bed had excellent sheets and ranked up there with the best beds I've had anywhere. Location is a bit gritty towards the train station area, but Genoa is sort of a gritty city. 10 min walk to the aquarium and seafront area. Good value restaurant trattoria adjacent as well as other nearby pizza style restaurants.

Long walk from hotel
Mario Batali has an Eataly nearby at the seafront area, about a 10-15 minute walk. If you have never been to Eataly NY, this one is a fine version that is quite the place to have anything from a excellent sit down dinner to a selection of quicker, but still high quality eats.
