The Clarion Collection Hotel Astoria Genova was built in 1860 by Marquises Serra, a noble Genoa family. The building, thanks to a recent renovation, offers the guest modern services and amenities. Still keeping original and historical characteristics with ancient equipments and ceilings decorated with frescos, typical of the old times atmosphere. At the Clarion Collection Hotel Astoria, the guests can choose different types of rooms, between characterized style of other times and modern times. Book now your favorite category. Starting January 2012 there will be a city tax (not yet defined) per person per night, excluded from the rate and payable cash directly to the hotel. Children 12 and younger stay free when sharing the room with parents or grandparents, if no additional bedding is required. Only small pets allowed 10kg, no charge.

Genova Exploration

We took the trains, the metro, the Genova city tour bus, a taxi, and a water bus tour. The roads were very hilly and the city was very spread out which is why we decided to utilize every type of transportation they offered. Plus we only had one day to spend in the beautiful city and we all really wished we could have spent more time in the city. The hotel was great and the service fantastic. The only downside was that they allowed smoking in the hall ways.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

The metro stops were everywhere in the city and you can buy a 24hour bus, metro, train, and water bus ticket for about 5 euros. This made transportation extremely cheap and easy. Bus 33 provided a great cheap tour of the city and the metro buses ran frequently.

un peu trop bruyant du fait de

un peu trop bruyant du fait de la circulation routiere. pas de parking a l'hotel necessite d'utiliser un parking de proximite en supplement.
