The Style Florence

A 2 room suite for the price of an average 4*! Chose it for the location (right across the street from the Firenze termini) and so for convenience if you arrive by train, it can't be beaten! Got a room on the first floor which was a bit noisy as it was facing the street but was acceptable. Had a separate lounge/kitchenette and a bedroom and two separate bathrooms - one with a great jacuzzi and the other a large walk-in shower. Only minor inconvenience was have to go across to the Ambasciatori (sister hotel) for breakfast (via the 4th floor fire exit and then down again) but a minor inconvenience for the privilege of a staying in a cool and convenient suite.

This is a great place to stay. Beautifully appointed rooms, ours had a spearate living area and 2 bathrooms. Its very deceptive as it looks old and tired from the outside, but the hotel is fully renotaved and contempary inside. Well located juts a short wlak to everything and across the road from the station. The breakfast was also excellent and the staff were very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We were really surprised by the size of our suite - it was fantastic, our room was at the back by the bus station, you can hear the announcements but it is not loud enough to put you off - I felt that the size of the rooms really made up for the (small amount) of noise. We had friends who stayed at the front of the hotel and had more traffic noise so I would suggest requesting a room at the back of the building. I loved it and would totally recommend it we stayed for a week and I would stay again.

Room size and facilities are superb. Location is great too. parking solution was very good.

Overall I would say this hotel was lovely and roomy. Beds were comfortable which was really needed after a long hot day of sightseeing. The place was hard to find at first but otherwise centrally located. There was a small kitchenette in the suite but they seemed not to want to clean the dishes (or supply washing liquid or cutlery until I asked for it). Overall they were helpful but did not have any Breakfast or restaurant.

Surprise to us, we booked a triple room, but got a suite with a simple cooking facility. It is the cheapest hotel we booked with our 3 weeks holiday, over 8 hotels, but so far it's the best one we liked out of 6 hotels we have stayed.

Just beside the train station! Our room at front the street but we can't hear much nioce because the double galze windows helped. Included breakfast was very good. The hotel sell the tickets for city open tour bus and Outlets bus tour was very good. Anywhere I will be back to this hotel again!

This is my 1st trip to Florence. The hotel is at fantastic location, right next to the Firenze SM station. However, the map to the hotel is not quite well drawn. We walked in the wrong direction with all our lugguge but after asking a few people, including the local police, we found the hotel. The entrance is among a row of shops so its not too obvious. Otherwise, the hotel location is excellent, the room is great and the heating system is superb which is very important during winter!

When I arrived at the hotel I was told that they didn't have a reservation for me. I flew in late and was to meet with my daughter who had flew in earlier that day. When I asked them to check and make sure that my daughter had not already checked in they assured me that she had not. Note that this reservation was made and paid for three months in advanced. I was left distressed for hours as they tried to put me up in another of their properties not knowing where my daughter was.I had to call an [...] representative to verify that the reservation had been made. It turned out that my daughter had checked in earlier that day but had asked to change rooms because of the smoke smell in the first room.Other then the initial mixup in reservation I did enjoy my stay at the B&H Hotel. It was an excellent location for our plans to take the train to Venice, Milan, Bologna and Pisa. We would only have to walk across the street after returning from the train to our hotel. Also it wasn't far to walk to most of the major Florence attractions and it was easy to catch the Tour Buses close to the train station.The hotel is attractive and comfortable and I would stay there again the next time I go to Florence.
