This was a beautiful hotel which provided a perfectly quiet oasis with no traffic noise at all. It is a little walk from the main attractions of Florence but there were plenty of lovely restaurants near by. The only complaint was the coffee at breakfast - truly dreadful.

The hotel is a bit further out
The hotel is a bit further out from the Train station and main tourist attractions, but still in walking distance. The receptionists were fine but the cleaners were not properly trained for their job, opened the door while the guests were still in the room, and throwed away the guests' things (full bottles of water, coca-cola) without permission. The most inconvenient thing is no internet connection for guests.

Very nice hotel, in an old massion
Very nice hotel, in an old massion with little garden. Hotel staff is very friendly. Location is 15 min walk from the main train station. This city is small, I walled around to main sites during the stay.

I stayed in the Royal Hotel Florence
I stayed in the Royal Hotel Florence with a mate and we got triple room. The room is quite spacious with very tall ceiling. The hotel is quite charming. Location of the hotel is great. It is located in the outer edge of the old city so it is walking distance from all historical sites and superb leather market. Note that even though the hotel has a swimming pool in the lovely backyard you will need to pay 8€ to use it. Parking also comes at a cost of 23€ per day. I would stay again in this hotel.

The hotel is ideally located and comfortable. A nice place to be after a day in the heat of Firenze (specially in the garden). But, the people at the reception were unkind and the bad surprise was the additional cost for the swimming pool (EUR 8 per pers / per day)...

Not very happy and positive from
Not very happy and positive from this hotel.. Positive : nice location from downtown, parking and pool Negative : Parking price : 25 euros per day to pay cache when you arrive... Pool : 8 euros (6 euros kids) to pay every day ... never seen this before : no life guard and small pool... On arrival we payed 20 euros for 1h30 hour to stay in the pool: no negotiation possible : money is money... Breakfast got a poor coffee machine : people had to wait to be served on this machine.. as serving coffee, water, ... a good coffee machine should have been better, juice machine was not good at all... Room was in dependencies : only one top windows, no view, air conditioning was very poor , cleaning was very quick : only bed and towel , no cleaning on ground...

Très bon hôtel dans Florence,
Très bon hôtel dans Florence, un peu excentré du centre ce qui présente l'avantage d'être au calme. Le seul point négatif reste le petit déjeuner qui n'est pas très varié mais ça ne semble pas être le repas le plus important dans la journée des italiens en général!
