The Hotel River is located in a charming 19th century building of Florence situated on the bank of river Arno. Recently completed renovated using the finest materials, the hotel offers quality and comfort and preserves the original charm of traditional Florentine residence. Parking facilities-at cost.

value & location

Great location if you would like to be close to Pizzale Michelangelo, and of course, the river! I'm a total WiFi snob, so having it free is huge for me -- however I could not access the WiFi from my room on the basement level: i had to walk upstairs to the lobby for access. I only stayed one night, and felt it was a decent spot for the $.

Very nice hotel with friendly

Very nice hotel with friendly staf. Beatiful view of the river Arno and the opposite bank. The terrace rooftop must be really agreable in the summer. The hotel is some twenty minutes walking to the centre, at the end of the day you wish it was closer... The breakfast served at the hotel is very good.
