The new Aparthotel Residence San Niccolo is located in a glamorous 19th century Mansion, recently refurbished, on the Lungarno riverside in front of Piazzale Michelangelo, a wonderful terrace on the charming Florence view. It is just a short walk away from the heart of art and culture Piazza Santa Croce, Piazza della Signoria, La Galleria degli Uffizi, Il ponte Vecchio and at the same time it is close to the Avenues which are the main link-up roads in town. The hotel provides amenities like concierge, disable facilities, doctor on call, dry cleaning, laundry service, lift/elevator, parking facilities-at cost, pets allowed and reception.

It has a nice location, but needs update

It was a little further from the central, so walking was hard with two kids in hot weather. But it has a nice Arno river view outside, so we could have a break from very crowded city. The residence has a big space, but the shower booth was extremely tiny, I can guess lots of people will have trouble to fit into it. It was clean, but the bedsheets and bed definitely need update. Especially beds in the living area didn't have support and my back was aching and blue bedsheets were very old. If they change new beds and bedsheets, it will provide much comfort to travelers.
