Camping Michelangelo has a unique position in Florence, set on the northern hillside above the Arno river offering a panoramic view of the city. The Ponte Vecchio is a short walk downhill from the campsite and from there the historic city centre is easily accessible.Bars, restaurants, shops and nightclubs are spread around the city centre making Camping Michelangelo a handy base from which to discover the sights.Camping Michelangelo is located next door to Piazzale Michelangiolo and within easy reach of the main attractions such as the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, Piazza Signoria, Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli gardens, either on foot or by using the local transport system.By Vehicle:
From Motorway A1 Milan-Napoli, take exit Firenze Certosa or Firenze Sud and begin by following the signs to Firenze Centro and then as they appear, the signs for Piazzale Michelangiolo. The campsite entrance is about 100m after the piazza on the left.
