Lorenzo Il Magnifico Hotel Florence

Lorenzo is a wonderful, charming hotel off the beaten path in Florence. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the breakfast was just perfect: fruit, cereals, breads, cheeses, eggs, bacon, etc. Future guests should be aware (as we were) that it is located approximately 15 minutes outside of the Florence center (walking). We actually enjoyed this part as it gave us extra exercise and made us feel like part of the neighborhood. We will definitely return and recommend it to all of our friends!

This hotel was the most reasonable priced hotel we stayed at in Italy and it was by far the most luxurious one! The room had at least 15 foot ceilings, wonderful decor, a jacuzzi tub and bidet in the bathroom, spotlessly clean and an excellent breakfast that was included in the price! It also had a lovely salon and garden to hang around in and private parking within the garden gates. Very quiet and secluded especially for Florence! It was within walking distance of all major museums and close to restaurants. I would definately stay there again without any further thought!

Hotel was centrally located, and the staff very accommodating, including recommending restaurants in the neighborhood, and arranging for reservations at the Uffizi Gallery. The hotel was well-maintained and clean and comfortable; the youthful staff never hesitated at giving directions to sites of interest.

This is a very nice hotel. Nothing bad to say!

The staff is very friendly, informative when asking for directions. Parking is not a problem. This hotel is within walking distance to all downtown Firenze.Every morning we had breakfast in the dining room included in teh cost of staying.

This hotel is a great value! It is a short walk (maybe a 10 min. walk) from the center of the city. The room was spotless and spacious. The shower was great. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is also parking on the grounds for a small fee. However there is no restuarant. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Florence was magnificent. The hotel staff were very helpful but it is a long 20 min walk before you even get to the tourist parts of the city. The staff advised me that by the time you walk to a bus stop you are almost where you want to be. The hotel renovation is NOT completed & as I was in an annex there was no outdoor lighting through a narrow pathway with an uneven surface. The pathway is not covered & no umbrellas were supplied in the rain. The television is VERY old & no english news shows are available.

A very nice place, super quiet, clean, friendly staff but: 1. It really is a hike to the attractions and not a great walk either. 2. There are high tech systems controlling the lights and A/C but they were not reliable in my room. The A/C had to be reset from the front desk. The reset set the max temp at 22 celcius. The bathroom light mysteriously went out while I was taking a shower. Then it came back on by itself, then off, then on--you get the picture. 3. No wifi in my room--had to go to lobby.

bon emplacement juste a coté du centre a pied ! par contre il annonce un parking en réalité il est réservé pour les bons clients habitués et vous propose d'aller dans un parking payant a 500 mètres! chambre avec plafond défraichies avec des moustics collés sur les murs! cabine douche tres étriqués personnes fortes a éviter! petits déjeuners tres biens et tres copieux!

Hotel liegt zentral und in ca. 15 Gehminuten sind die fußläufigen Bereiche der Stadt zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und für italienische Verhältnisse gut. Die Zimmer sind sauber, das Personal ist freundlich. Die wenigen Hotelparkplätze sind durch eine abenteuerliche Zufahrt für etwas tiefer liegende Fahrzeuge nicht immer nutzbar. Rudum ist es ein gutes, für 2-3 tägige Stadterkundungen , geeignetes Hotel.
