We stayed in Baglioni Hotel Florence
We stayed in Baglioni Hotel Florence in July, 2011 it is conveniently located opposite the train station to the right hand side. Location is very central. Lovery views of Florence from the dining room and from the large beautifully laid out roof terraces. Staff were friendly and very helpful if help was necessary. We would stay there again if in Florence Carherine and Breda Ireland

An Old World Gem
This Hotel is an old world gem. The staff was great. At first they put us in a room too far away from the center of the hotel, and when asked about a change, they did it right away and sent someone to help. The location is grewat, near the RR station, with access to all public transport. And it is located near everything you want to see in Florence

Review of Grand Hotel Baglioni
The hotel was old but seemed nice. After the first night, we awoke with numerous red marks, mostly on arms, legs, and back that were small, red, and itchy, classic for bedbug bites. We did not see the bugs but have never experienced anything like this before. There is no air conditioning, fan, or ventilation and so the window was kept open. I would not recommend this hotel, under these circumstances!!!

Grand Baglioni -A very nice hotel
We were on a vacation and the staff was courteous as well as effecient to book the advance tickets for the 2 important museums - which we otherwise coundn't have made waiting in the long queue.It's an old property very well renovated without losing the old charm. Very convenient location - just a short walk from the main rail station -very convenient for day journey to Pisa.

BEST LOCATION, GREAT ROOF BAR. YES VERY BUSY, BUT GIVEN THAT I WAS THERE DURING THE MAIN TRADE SHOW OF FLORENCE, THEY WERE STILL POLITE AND COURTEOUS

Great Location
When we first arrived at the hotel, they did not have our reservation from Orbitz. Luckily we had brought a copy of the receipt with us. Within a few minutes they were able to find a room for us. The staff was nice. Every morning we ate the included breakfast. It was served in the restaurant on the top floor. It gave a beautiful view of Florence. The location is great. The walk is not that far to most of the more popular places. We highly recommend this place, but you might want to call to ahead of time make sure they have your reservation.

Eat at one of the numerous small restaurants that are a short walk from the hotel. The prices are very good, and the food is great.
