Excellent Location
Florence was the prettiest of the three cities we visited (Rome, Florence, Venice). Pros: The location was great. It was never too far to walk anywhere. We had a little trouble walking there from the train when we first arrived but that was because I got lost. It is only about 7 minutes from the train terminal (which includes walking with a pregnant wife). The room was the largest we stayed in while in Italy. There was also a black out wooden curtain that came down to really let us sleep well. The lobby was beautiful and there was a fireplace with cozy chairs which we took advantage of on more than one occassion. Cons: I was a little disappointed the room wasn't ready when we arrived despite getting there after check in time. When the room was ready it smelled like vinegar. The walls were a little thin because we could readily hear the person above us.

If you can afford it, the street the De La Ville is located on has an amazing shopping experience (we enjoyed window shopping).

Good hotel
Pros: good location, Great breakfast, cappuccino, nice staffs, much higher quality of general status compare to other 4 star hotels !!! Cons: 1) no WiFi in room. WiFi available in the hall, but not available in the bar area next to lobby. I am very curious about Wifi connection. Lobby and bar are in same space. How lobby area has Wifi connection, but bar area has NO wifi ?? 2) Bed is not a Double bed. They look double, but two single beds. It made us sleep seperatate.

Great place to stay

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel
Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, das Personal hervorragend geschult und sehr hilfsbereit. Sehr gute Tipps bezüglich Restaurants (Tischreservierung wird gerne von der Rezeption erledigt) Frühstücksbuffet reichlich und wird auch immer frisch nachgebracht. Würde jederzeit wieder hier wohnen wollen.

Tolles Hotel in Zentrum
Tolle Lage, schöne grosse Lobby, mit Bar, Bibliothek, Salon mit Kamin, echtes Feuer, Happy Hour, gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück, nettes Personal.Schönes sauberes Zimmer, sehr schönes grosses Marmorbad, mit Badewanne. 5 bis 10 Minuten zu Fuss zum Hauptbahnof um auf den Sita Bus zum Flughafen umzusteigen. Ich war begeistert..Komme sicher wieder . Sehr empfehlenswert.
