Hotel Cosimo de' Medici still shows the signs of the early foundation of its palace that dates back to the XVII century. Hotel Cosimo de' Medici was recently renewed to ensure perfect conditions and high quality standards, and adding to its structure a second floor with 7 modern rooms characterized by contemporary design and superior technology. This was a great place to stay

We loved everything about this hotel. It was easy to find, close to the train station and close to the sites we wanted to see. It was also very spacious and clean. It did get pretty loud outside since it was near a busy street but I slept with ear plugs so that was no problem. It's super easy to see a lot in Florence on foot and in one day. The staff were really helpful it proving a map and directions to everything, including bus numbers and so forth.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

We spent a lot of time in the market but bought very little since we didn't want to carry everything with us so early in our trip. However, we never found the type of stuff offered in Florence again (leather, clothing, shoes), esp at the same prices. Shop in Florence or you'll regret it!

Nice Place

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hotel only one night, but it was enough to appreciate the quality of the place! Clean room, not huge but big enough; air conditioning worked well; staffing was helpful and friendly; parking was a plus. The breakfest was very good and breakfest area was nice! We were very pleased!
