The Hotel Bijou is situated at 3rd floor of a magnificent old classic Florentine style building in the Historical Center, very close to the Central Train Station of Firenze S. Maria Novella (only 3 minutes walk), nearby the Exhibition and Fair Center of Fortezza da Basso, and in front of the Congress Center and the Business Center. The hotel is very near the wonderful Church of S. Maria Novella, the Medici Chapels and the traditional Market of San Lorenzo, next to the marvelous Church of San Lorenzo and very close to the all points of attraction of the city. The hotel provides amenities like concierge, laundry service, lift/elevator, non-smoking rooms, parking facilities-at cost, pets allowed, reception, room service-24 hrs, safe deposit box, luggage storage and roof terrace. Breakfast is not included in the room rates and it is charged as 8 Euros per person.

dont go there

We went for a 6 days trip to Italy, spent 2 days in Florence and this hotel was our worst experience of the whole trip, room wasn't clean there was hair on the bed and when we arrived we found out that breakfast wasnt included and we had to share bathroom, so if you think it's cheaper than other places consider that they dont include breakfast and it doesnt have its own bathroom. It's close to the train station so that was good because you can just wall to get there. The people who was at the desk were not so nice. That was the most expensive hotel we paid during the trip and the worst experience.

Nice location, reasonable value

This hotel is reasonable and easy to find. Numerous and quality restaurants are nearby. It is easy to walk to the most important sites of Florence from this hotel. The staff moved our luggage out of our room in advance of our check-out time, but gave us another room to change our clothes after breakfast. We would probably stay here again.
