The hotel location was great. The room was small but the bathroom was a good size.

Good location, fair room.

The Astoria is in the Santa Maria Novella neighborhood, so the location is good. Nice lobby, average room. Problem: a bathtub that was so narrow I could not have my feet flat! The shower water pressure was poor, although the water ran well for a bath. We had not included the breakfast in our booking, and were told we could add it for an additional 15 Euro each. Yikes! We went elsewhere. A very nice touch was a personal knock on the door as our 4:00 AM wake up to catch a flight. Friendly staff.

Great view on the roof terrace,

Great view on the roof terrace, very expensive to dine and drinks are very epensive, but delivered with a smile.

AU COEUR DU CENTRE VILLE

Hotel très bien situé au centre ville mais sans les nuisances sonores. Hotel et personnel agréables mais la chambres n'est pas aussi belle et aussi grande que je l'avais imaginé

Les restaurants a Florence sont de qualité médiocre, pour les touristes. Les pizzas et les pates ne sont certainement pas meilleurs qu'à Paris...Il faut compter en sus le prix du services #inclus dans l'addition# et aucun légume n'est servi avec le plat, il faut donc payer en plus les accompagnements. Pas de carafe d'eau mais bien sur de l'eau minérale, en plus les serveurs ne sont pas très agréables avec les touristes et perdent vite patience s'il ne comprennent pas tout de suite...

Erinomainen sijainti, mutta rikkinäiset hanat häiritsivät

En kutsuisi neljän tähden hotelliksi. On ehkä joskus ollut. Hyvin pieni amme eikä suihkuverhoa, joten lattia kastui, vaikka kuinka varovasti yritti suihkutella. Valokatkaisinrasioista ja pesualtaan hanasta puuttuivat päällykset ja viimemainittu oli hyvin kankea käyttää. Hotelli kaipaisi siis sähkö- ja lvi-peruskorjauksen. Aamiainen oli myös hyvin vaatimaton verrattuna muihin ****-hotelleihin. Sänky oli hyvä, mutta epäekologisesti pyyhkeet vaihdettiin päivittäin.

Hieno vanha hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla

Puitteet ja sisutus olivat hienot. Hotelli oli vähän kolhuinen ja vanha, mutta kaikin puolin mukava. Miinusta ikivanhasta ilmastoinnista, joka ei toiminut kunnolla ja viemärinhajusta. Huone oli siisti ja mukava. Hyvä paikka, jos pienet kauneusvirheet eivät haittaa.

Erinomainen lyhyehköön lomaan

Hotelli on ikääntynyt arvokkaasti. Hotelli rauhallisella pikkukadulla. Sijainti on erinomainen aseman ja Duomon puolivälissä, kävelyetäisyydellä koko Firenzen päänähtävyyksiin. Runsas ja suht mnipuolinen aamiaispuffet hintaan 12,50€. Olemme tyytyväisiä hotellivalintaamme!
