Firenza

Tried to get the A/C working but nobody at the hotel was able to adjust the temperature and in Firenza in July it's hot...now try sleeping in 85 degree heat!

Modern Hotel at unbeatable price

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights to go to Venice The hotel is great--first modern Hotel I have seen in Florence.Breakfast is great and free! A little distant from the center but there is a tramp you can take about 2 mins from the Hotel that brings you right at the Santa Maria Novella Train Station --2 mins walk to the Centre

San Lorenzo Market"The Mercato di San Lorenzo"the best leather and clothes bargains in town.My daughter and I went back 4-5x and bought a lot of Pashmina scarves .Also bags and small leather items.I wish I bought more---

Leider sehr hellhörig. Wer glaubt das das nicht stört muß nur das Pech haben das über ihm jemand wohnt der früh um 5 hektisch aufsteht um seinen Flieger nicht zu verpassen. Schade für ein ansonsten fast perfektes Hotel was sich im Bereich der Innenausstattung optisch sehr angenehm von den plüschigen Palazzos abhebt. Nette Dachterrasse, gutes Frühstück (wer auch guten Kaffee will sollte ihn direkt beim Kellner bestellen, kostet nichts zusätzlich), gut 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis in die Innenstadt und 10 Minuten zum Bahnhof. WLAN für 24 Stunden 9 Euro, alkoholfreie Minibar im Preis enthalten. Taxi vom/zum Airport mit Gepäck für max. 25 Euro in 15-20 Minuten.
