Great Location
As others have said, it's perfect for one night before or after a flight. It is exactly 2 minutes from the FCO terminal. It's fairly clean and there is plenty to do and eat within 1 block walk. We dropped off the rental car the night before and paid for the shuttle in the morning for our flight. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Short drive from hotel
Drop off your rental car the night before your flight. Shuttle back to hotel and again to the airport in the morning. 6 Euro each way. Without the car, it took 2 hours to check in and get to our gate to NY. Nothing about this airport is easy, don't add the car drop off into the mix.

It was a good place to stop overnight for a quick trip back to the airport. The room was clean and relatively quiet. Know that no matter what the meter says, a cab will cost you at least 15 euro for a 2 minute ride from the airport. Reserve the shuttle if you can to save at least a few bucks.

Short walk from hotel
The restaurant in the hotel is very expensive, but if you walk about a block down, there is a very good little place just around the corner that's open pretty late. We didn't have a chance to have their pizza, but apparently it's the best around.

Not Bad
It was difficult to get to the hotel. There is no shuttle available in the evening. A cab cost us 20 euros for a 2 minute drive. The rooms were OK and pretty clean. Shuttles in the morning run every 20 min and cost 6 euros per person. I would try to stay at the airport hilton next time because you dont have to deal with getting ripped off by cab drivers if the shuttle isnt running.

Very Convenient Hotel close to Fiumicino
I had to arrive in Rome a day before my flight back to the states. I had a flight departing at 6:45am. Impossible to get a train early enough so had to book a hotel. Staff was patient and nice when explaining where to find the navetta (shuttle). The shuttle came (only 6 euro). Room clean and nice, asked for a full bed (letto matrimoniale) and received the request. Small room but super clean. Nice restaurant on premises. Would use it again. Only 10 min from airport and the taxi fare in the morning was 15 euro. I got the impression that it was that much because it was 5am. I saw another review that said 10 euro so somewhere between that. Bed comfortable and bathroom nice with amenities.

my point of view
Hotel Mach2
I would not stay in that hotel evr again under no circumstance! I had to go to the Courtyard Marriot in order to eat and catach shuttle into the city of Rome.

Good quiet hotel near Rome's I
