Fuimicino Airport Access
Like nearly all who stay at this hotel, we simply needed a place near Fiumicino/Leonardo Da Vinci Airport, and it is satisfactory for that purpose, with a pretty good breakfast thrown in. Most convenient for me in my particular situation that night, a computer was available in the lobby. My one complaint: I'm used to hotel shuttles' being free; but it turned out that we were charged 6 Euros per person for shuttle service, learning what was happening only when the shuttle driver asked for our voucher, which the hotel desk clerk had failed to mention to us. Until then I'd assumed that the 12-Euro charge on my bill was simply typical adding-on of charges. The hotel's first shuttle runs at 6 a.m., which can be too late for some; but a taxi can be called, according to a desk clerk.

Short walk from hotel
Not far down the street from the hotel s a seafood restaurant that also serves pizza and pasta; it is recommended by those who eat there (we missed it). In fact, the driver who took us to Fiumicino said he drives out from Rome to dine there.

Shuttle Cost Adds Up
The Hotel is what you would expect from a Best Western -- neat, clean, continental breakfast. However, it was a surprise to us that we had to pay 6 Euro to get picked up from the airport, and 6 more to go back. We had planned to go into Rome for the evening, but the cost of going back and forth to the airport and then taking the train was just too much. If you have an overnight layover, probably best to just stay somewhere in the city.

Ocean View 10 minutes from Rome Airport
I spent the night there so I could get to the airport easily for my early morning flight. The hotel staff was very helpful offering advice on where to eat. The parking was secure and free. The beach and sunset were phenomenal. There was an ocean view from my room. The decor was very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good option if staying for a stopover at Fiumiscino
Hotel was clean and close enought to the airport although getting a taxi late at the airport or in the morning at the hotel is not something you want to do if you are in a hurry. Staff was friendly and is just a block from the beach.

Very nice
Very pleasant experience- I was far from the airport, but one block from the white sand beach. I'll take that trade-off!

Nice and friendly place
Like others, we stayed at this hotel the night before our early flight out of Rome. Clean, comfortable, and friendly place. We had a nice view of the sea and the breakfast was good. Walk a few blocks and there are a dozen or more restaurants. Definitely recommend, just wish we had arrived earlier in the day and spent some time on the beach!

good for transit purposes
Close to airport and sea port in a quiet neighborhood. We were on our way out of Italy and needed a place close to the airport. This hotel was expensive for the purpose, but comfortable enough and quiet. Definitely not a tourist hotel from which to foray into Rome - it would be quite uncomfortable for that purpose. We had a lovely dinner at the Delfino restaurant just down the street from this hotel.

Nice, quiet, friendly place.
The hotel was great for what we needed it for, as a quiet base for a day trip into Rome and a good nights sleep before and after our cruise. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were several very good restaurants within walking distance, as well as pharmacies, a bakery, etc. The beach is only 2 or 3 blocks away and it is a nice walk down the sidewalk along it. The breakfast and coffee in the mornings at the hotel were very good. The shuttle to the airport is convenient and reasonable (6 euro each)and runs from 6am 'till noon and for a few hours in the afternoon/eve. The shuttle into Rome worked great for us; it dropped us off at The Colosseum for 12 euro each and picked us up there (at 3:10pm or 10:10pm)and took us back to the hotel for another 12 euro.

Delphinos Pizza was a block away and the best pizza we had ever had. It is closed Mondays and opens at 7:30 for dinner other nights.

Short and Sweet
Our stay was 1 night waiting for a morning flight out of Rome. The staff was friendly, spoke english, and was helpful. There are several nearby restaurants. We chose one at the suggestion of the hotel staff and had a wonderful seafood dinner.
