grand old hotel on the waterfront with beautiful views of the lake and direct ferry access, and also in the heart of old-town, just steps away from the cathedral and great cafes and shops, etc...
extremely easy if you are arr/dep by train... two
rail stations in Como with frequent service to/from Milan and/or Malpensa airport. From S. Giovannni station, Metropole Suisse is an easy 10 min walk downhill... (frequent service from Milan Centrale to S.Giovanni) And this elegant hotel is steps away (4min walk) to Nord Como Station. Be very careful of train connection Nord Como to Malpensa..... need to allow one hour in Saronno for transfer and the schedule is a little deceptive.....
