The hotel was fully redecorated and restored in 2005. 1208 SR The building that accommodates the hotel is a 17 Century palace, once a monastery of the Church of St Francis.
Though not particularly large, the entrance to the hotel is elegant and takes central stage in the small square facing the hotel. The hotel, one of the oldest in Umbria (1895), is located in a small square in the very heart of the city.
