Directions: from Piazza Stesicoro turn right in Via Etnea, then after 50 meters turn right in Via Costarelli. My review of Una Hotel Palace
Very pretty hotel in the center of town - located on the main shopping street. Lovely hotel roof bar overlooking the city. the rooms were not large, but standard European size. Breakfast was included and was a very nice buffet that you could have delivered as room service for an additional 6 Euro. Lobby was pretty and modern - and the staff was helpful as well although there was no concierge.

There is a town market on Saturdays that is huge and can be accessed by turning right out of the hotel and then right again. Very close. Good restaurants down near the square and also near the hotel.

Nice place, nice location
The hotel is very pretty and comfortable. The staff is very accommodating and were available around the clock. The location is wonderful. Tons of shopping and restaurants on the same street. Fairly close to the airport and views of Mt Etna from the roof top restaurant.

Beautiful property, great location
The location is great - on a busy, historical (and a bit hectic) main thoroughfare. The property is beautiful and the service was spot-on. Unfortunately they didn't have my reservation at check-in, but this was resolved after about an hour of threats of being walked at nearly midnight. [...] That made for a bumpy, unwelcome start to an otherwise wonderful stay.

Wonderful experience
A wonderful hotel in the old section of Catania. The only comment was that the bed was EXTREMELY firm. The evening buffet at the bar on the roof was quite good, although we did not have dinner at the hotel. Lots of restaurants in this historic district. I would recommend that those unfamiliar with the city use the fixed-rate taxi service rather than trying to drive to the hotel! Well worth the price.

Posizione centrale, personale
Posizione centrale, personale qualificato, cordiale, competente. La stanza da bagno della camera non è sufficientemente attrezzata. Bisogna chiedere al personale dalle ciabattine a tutto quello che normalmente trovi in un hotel di questa categoria, specialmente se trattasi di una prenotazione di pochi giorni il cliente evita di portarsi accappatoio, ciabattine ecc. Colazione abbondante. Nella sala ristorante, una cameriera a storto il naso avendo visto quattro bambini e quattro adulti. Tutti gli altri camerieri sono stati gentili, cordiali, disponibili..........giudizio complessivo buono.
