Pictures are misleading...
Lake Garda is a beautiful and extremely busy location. The hotel photos show the quiet garden, but just behind the hedge is an extremely busy, noisy road with high speed motorcycles and cars whizzing by. The hotel seemed to be run by the two waitresses that served coffee at breakfast and dinner in evening. I would not recommend taking the half pension plan. Dinner was not very good. We stayed in July and it was extremely warm. NO air conditioning...a cheap plastic fan was offered. Could barely sleep and the hotel next door had very loud dance parties. If you could shut hotel door, it would be okay, but it was so hot, you would suffocate. Lake Garda was beautiful, but I would say, spend the extra bucks and find a place with air conditioning and please, those romantic looking rooms in the ad? Saw nothing like them!!

I have no words to describe how awful it was!!!.. They tried to force us to accept a stinky, dusty room. We could not even bare staying there for more than five minutes. They claimed it was their last and that they could not offer any alternatives. We asked to check out, but they literally made it so difficult to do so (we felt we were being forced to stay there!!).. The room was very dusty, with no view what so ever and below any acceptable level. when we brought our complaints to their attention, they had nothing to say and we barely managed to get our passports back.
