A tax has been imposed by the city for stays beginning 1 September 2012, and will be collected directly at the property. The tax ranges from EUR 1 to EUR 4 per person, per night. Needs to get with the times.
Overall, OK and in a good location. BUT... needs to get with the times. No option to keep towels from one day to the next and/or leave the bed unmade. Also, having to pay for internet access is old-fashioned. Staff were OK and helpful and spoke perfect English. Bed comfy.

Great vacation weekend getaway
The hotel is very well located approximately six blocks from the center of Old Town. Excellent shopping and wonderful restaurants nearby along with a beautiful park. The hotel is very nice, with excellent breakfasts and comfortable rooms and wonderful robes to snuggle up in. An excellent value.

Diana restaurant two blocks from the hotel towards Old Town. A little pricey, but the excellent service and well prepared food are worth it.

Comfortable, well appointed & friendly hotel!
Firstly, the hotel is well appointed in a superb location on Via Indipendenza, close to the centre, shops and the station (but not too close...) The reception staff are very approachable & friendly & willing to help. My room was spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed, a lovely clean, marble bathroom and the room looked out on to Via Indipendenza, yet was very quiet. The breakfast was extensive, fresh and delicious. I will definitely return!

wonderful facility, budget price
The hotel was a short walk from the train station, and convenient to sight seeing areas. I paid less than $100 per night and was surprised at how nice the place was. Although single rooms are often small, hot, etc, mine was spacious, beautifully decorated, and the air conditioner worked! Fantastic buffet breakfast, and courteous, professional staff.

Great for business travel
This is a great location in Bologna on the best street in the city. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area, and easy access to the train and bus station.
